The proposed method is based on the integrated use the methods of mathematical and computer modeling of the processes for forming the surface of the part during its machining. The use of the developed methodology in solving the problems of technological preparation of production allows to increase the service life of finished products while ensuring their specified parameters and to reduce the total cost of details. Algorithms and programs of mathematical modeling at definition of optimum modes of machining are developed, models of initial parameters of a surface layer quality of details are developed, the technique of definition of a condition of a surface layer by computer modeling in real operating conditions by means of numerical methods of finite element analysis is developed. Methodical recommendations of technological support of optimum operational characteristics of details that in the conditions of automated production allows to increase considerably the general life cycle of products are developed.
