The purpose of the work is to develop a project for degassing of the excavation section 865 of the lava of the mine «Western-Donbass» PSU "MINE MANAGEMENT Ternovsky" of PJSC "DFEK PAVLOHRADVUGILLYA" to coordinate the "Project of isolated removal of methane-air mixture from the produced space of the excavation section 865 lava on short rigid pipelines due to the general mine depression", to develop recommendations for the release of air jet coming from the preparatory face to fresh air flow of preparatory and treatment production. Research methods – generalization and analysis of results, methods mat. statistics, calculations by standard methods. As a result of the work, the technical documentation for working off 865, 1039 benches and dead-end workings of the mine "Western-Donbass" was analyzed. The calculation of the expected methane release within the excavation site, the calculation of the required diameters of the pipeline and the mode of operation of the vacuum pump. Drilling parameters and technology of degassing well construction are determined. Measures have been developed to control the degassing system during fires in mine workings. The project of degassing of the excavation section 865 of the lava of formation С10в of the mine "Western-Donbass" has been developed. The "Project of isolated removal of the methane-air mixture from the developed space" was agreed. "Recommendations for ensuring dust and gas safety of coal mining works", recommendations for ensuring gas safety of the excavation section of the of PJSC "DFEK PAVLOHRADVUGILLYA". The results of the implementation of developments - the application of the developed recommendations allowed to ensure gas safety during mining operations, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
