 For the first time, up-to-date data on clinical and epidemiological features of the course of neurosyphilis have been revealed, which will contribute to improving the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of manifest neurosyphilis. For the first time, the effect of metabolic syndrome on focal alopecia and its treatment efficacy have been studied. There has been improved conventional treatment of patients with focal alopecia associated with metabolic syndrome by administering rosuvastatin at the presence of 3 components of the metabolic syndrome or rosuvastatin and thioctacid at the presence of 4-5 components of the metabolic syndrome. It makes possible to achieve a sustainable positive effects in treatment of patients with mild to moderate disease.
