Purpose - Based on the analysis of the guidance documents on the organization of language training of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, studying the experience of organizing the language training of personnel of some Eastern European countries that have become NATO members, to develop sound approaches to the further improvement and development of the system of language training of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Objectives of research work: - to analyze the current status of foreign language learning in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the governing documents; - to study the experience of organizing the linguistic training of the personnel of the Eastern European countries that have become NATO members; - to analyze methods and ways of stimulating personnel for knowledge and use of a foreign language; - substantiate the proposals for the draft Concept of development of the language training system for the Armed Forces of Ukraine; - to develop proposals for the system of language training of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; - develop methodological recommendations for the introduction of a new system of language training for staff. Based on the results of the study, a draft Concept for the development of the language training system for the Armed Forces of Ukraine was developed. The materials of the report can be used in the field of military education in the organization of language training of cadets, students of higher military educational institutions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
