 The analysis of the geoinformation systems using directions for the military sphere testifies to necessity of development of the geospatial data processing additional tools according to the tasks, that are solved at the organization of the actions of topogeodesic maintenance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The widespread introduction of electronic computing in the Armed Forces conotrol systems of the country necessitates the development of new approaches to automate the processing of the geospatial information, improve the organization, technology and technical means of obtaining information about the area of ​​its processing and transmission to users. The developed technologies for creating topographic maps at scales of 1: 500,000 and 1: 1,000,000 in accordance with NATO standards (TPC, ONC) and libraries of the electronic maps symbols at scales of 1: 500,000 and 1: 1,000,000, using ArcGIS software, are proposed to be used in the military units of the Topographic Service, when performing tasks as assigned.
