Purpose: To conduct a survey of TSMU students in order to identify the frequency of their lesions with Ixodes mites and to establish the consequences of such lesions, reflected in the pathological changes in the various organ systems of the body. To study the features of morphological parameters of different parts of the body and their ratio at different degrees of blood saturation of the host, which parasitized different life forms of ticks. Investigate the species composition and biotope distribution of Ixodidae mites (Acarina, Ixodidae) in the western regions of Ukraine and start work on compiling interactive maps of Ternopil, Ternopil and adjacent regions of Western Ukraine. Together with the university laboratory Investigate the frequency of infection of various life forms of ticks with infectious diseases: Borrelia Burgdorferi senso lato, Anaplasma phagocytophilum and Borrelia Miyamotoi.
