The aim of the work is to study the peculiarities of metabolic homeostasis in diseases of the oral cavity, to find out the mechanisms of disorders in generalized periodontitis depending on blood group, as well as to substantiate methods of treatment of major dental diseases in somatic disorders. Research methods - generally accepted clinical, laboratory, instrumental, histochemical, immunological, biochemical, anthropometric, histological, morphological and statistical research methods. The results of the study - studied the features of metabolic homeostasis in diseases of the oral cavity, identified changes in the development of disorders in generalized periodontitis depending on blood group, features of non-specific and specific immune defense in generalized periodontitis on the background of concomitant somatic pathologies and developed their methods. The results of the research are introduced into the educational process of a number of departments of higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
