The purpose of the work is to create fundamentally new "hybrid" frame materials with increased resistance to degradation under conditions of simultaneous action of high temperatures (over 600 ° C), dynamic loads, electric erosion and chemical corrosion. Based on the results of research, a scientific and technical solution for the creation of "hybrid" frame materials of contact welding electrodes is proposed, which will consist in creating a new structure, which is a combination of refractory frame made of reinforced composite LaB6-TiB2 and high-conductivity copper frame. . For the first time the technological parameters of the process of manufacturing contact welding electrodes from new "hybrid" materials, methods of infiltration of porous workpiece and spark-sintering sintering have been established. On the basis of the established optimum chemical composition and structure of frame materials of electrodes of contact welding and technological parameters of their manufacturing prototypes are received and their field tests are carried out. The obtained data on field tests of electrodes in the conditions of contact welding showed their effective work, which according to a preliminary assessment is not inferior to the best analogues.
