The aim of the work is to consider different observation techniques and available stations of satellite’s observation in Ukraine and to assess the theoretical accuracy of orbit parameters and accuracy of prediction of SO positions based on the actual availability of measurements and different options for places of the observation means. Research methods is statistical analysis, computer modeling of the circumstances of observations, calculations of satellite observations, numerical calculations of covariance matrices. As a result of research: - the analysis of several methods of obtaining observations is presented; - consideration and analysis of existing observations of the National centre catalog for the last years is carried out; - methods for obtaining model observations that are similar to the observations of the catalog is developed; - calculations on creation of model observations for the chosen objects which are similar to typical objects from the catalog at various options of placement of means of observations are carried out; - simulation of the initial determination of the orbital elements of SO on the basis of model observations obtained in one pass at one observation site, without reliance on external catalogs or a priori data about the orbit; - estimates of the accuracy of the initial determination of the orbit elements using one pass; - a description of the method of improve orbital elements obtain for observations that are similar to the observations from the catalog; - estimates of the accuracy of determining the orbital elements for observations that are similar to the observations from the catalog, by comparison with a priori modeling data.   Product Description popup.authors Korobeynikova Elena O.
