It is established that the molecular-thermal processes generated in the cutting zone on the contact surfaces "tool-part" and the mechanical characteristics of the machining material, affect the process of wear of the working surfaces of the cutting tool. The analysis of the main reasons for the generation of electrical signals, one of which is the process of plastic deformation during cutting. On the basis of theoretical researches the factors influencing size of wear of the cutting tool are established. The relationship between the variable component of the electromotive force and the parameters of the surface roughness of the workpiece. A mathematical model of cutting tool wear based on power parameters and electrical signals that occur when cutting on metal-cutting machines has been developed. The method of measuring the variable component of the electromotive force on machines has been improved, which has allowed increasing the accuracy of control. The structural scheme and algorithm of work of system of control of process of processing of details of devices in the conditions of automated manufacture is developed. The principles of realization of components of system, algorithm of carrying out of researches and the software are characterized. The dependence of the parameters of the surface roughness of the part on the modes of cutting and wear of the cutting tool, which made it possible to build a high-precision correction system to obtain high quality parts.
