The purpose of the work is substantiation and development of the system of storage and mobile transportation of heat, with the help of mobile heat storage, development of its working design documentation, creation of test methods, production and carrying out of field researches. This paper proposes the creation of a mobile heat storage (M-TES) as the main element of a discrete heating system (DHS), which is based on the use of local fuels of secondary and renewable heat sources remote from the consumer. Research method - analytical calculations, computer and mathematical modeling and experimental studies of physicochemical processes. Development of working design documentation. The created prototype of M-TES can be introduced into serial production, with the following characteristics: total weight - 25000 kg; heat storage material, weighing 12800 kg - aqueous solution of hydrogel and antifreeze in combination with substances with a phase transition; operating temperature difference - 95/35 °C; load power - 800 kW, unloading - 700 kW; heat storage capacity - 600 kWh. The appropriate transportation distance depends on the capacity of the M-TES and the consumer and should not exceed 30 km. The payback period of investments is from 1.5 to 4 years. The field of application of the obtained results is thermal power engineering, mechanical engineering and all branches of production with thermal processes.
