The purpose of the study is to develop a conceptual model of religious security in Ukraine as an interconnected multilevel system of relations (personal, religious, state level) in the context of internal and external threats of a pandemic nature and to identify its heuristic capabilities. Research methods - comparative and interdisciplinary approaches, structural-functional, system and content analysis, application of the principles of retrospective description of historical phenomena and processes, application of the principles of tolerance and non-confessionalism. Methodological bases of research of a problem of religious safety in Ukraine are developed; methodologies for evaluating works of a philosophical, religious, theological, and legal nature devoted to the coronavirus pandemic have been developed; historical and religious description and rational reconstruction of the real situation, main trends, directions, methodological principles and worldviews of understanding the activities of religious organizations during the coronavirus pandemic in order to develop the concept of religious security. A comparative analysis of philosophical, religious and theological discourses on the phenomenon of the pandemic was made. It is proved that philosophical discourse considers the phenomenon of a pandemic as a potential threat to human freedom, because due to "biopolitics" the government can manipulate the epidemiological situation in the context of restricting the expression of will and ensuring rights. It was found that in the religious context, the pandemic is seen as a threat and challenge to humanity. A number of legislative acts regulating the activities of religious organizations in the context of a coronavirus pandemic and the relevant instructions of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations (VRCiRO) were considered.
