The aim was to create implants from biodegradable materials and to ensure controllable time for their bio-resorption in human body. In the project the controllable time of the implant bio-resorption reaches due to deposition of bioactive coatings based on calcium phosphates onto the implants. Taking into consideration that in addition to controllable degradation time the coatings have to provide biocompatibility in an organism we carried out in vivo investigations of titanium-based implants with the coatings using experimental animals (rats).
