The goal of the work – development of optical-acoustic technology for layered composites non-destructive testing and diagnosis by methods and means of speckle-metrology to establish relationships between subsurface (hidden) defects (stratifications, non-adhesives, cracks, wrinkling) geometric parameters, acoustic wave parameters (type, frequency, amplitude, duration) and local deformations caused by it. During the project fulfillment, a optical-acoustic system breadboard model for composite structural elements non-destructive testing for the proposed technology experimental testing will be created. First stage – development of optical-acoustic tecnology for layered composites control and diagnostics in laboratory and working conditions. New mathematical models for acoustic wave propagation in layered composites and their scattering on internal defects are created. Mathematical modeling of the deformation field on the layered composite flat surface during its irradiation by an elastic wave field is performed. Methods for solving the basic equations of the proposed models are analyzed. Mathematical and computer modeling of static and dynamic speckle images of the surface, modeling of the dynamics of surface motion over the hidden defect are fulfilled. New principles of the optical-acoustic system construction for hidden defects detection in layered composites are offered and modeling of such system separate modules is begun.
