The analysis of electromechanical processes of linear pulse electromechanical converters of power purpose for definition of the most effective is carried out. The analysis of electromechanical processes in the pulse converter taking into account the approximated compaction curve for determination of rational initial position of the inductor is carried out. The electrode potential drop in the spark is investigated and the voltage value on the inductive resistance of the spark channel is estimated.
