Selection numbers of Festuca curvula 01-16-92 and Festuca trachyfylla 16-17-22 were identified, which, by pasture use, exceeded the Aira standard variety of Festuca rubra with the increased dry matter yield (up to 8.0 t/ha) and crude protein yield (1.1 t/ha) in terms of productivity. The Aurelia Festuca trachyfylla variety was submitted for qualification examination in the system of state variety testing.
