The cost of each of the varieties at each stage of the selection process is calculated. The total value of the Radomysl variety according to the calculations is UAH 710,000.00, while the Sluch variety is UAH 880,000.00, which is 24% more, and the Solokha variety is UAH 1,484,500.00 due to its color peculiarity. According to the cost structure in 2019, the cost of production of the variety Radomysl amounted to 129.7 thousand UAH. per 1 ha, variety Sluch 165.2 thousand UAH. per 1 ha, and the variety Solokha 333.3 thousand UAH. per 1 ha. The production of technical varieties requires to some extent a greater provision of means of protection, fertilizers. As for the dietary variety Solokha, research shows that its cost will be the highest, as planting material has the highest price and the cultivation of such varieties requires a large number of specific conditions. Thus, according to the research of the sector of scientific and economic research, the planned profitability indicator by varieties is: varieties Radomysl, as food potatoes, which will be sold at an average market price of UAH 14. kg. - 385.7%; variety Sluch with an average selling price of UAH 8. kg. - 79.2%; Solokha variety, provided that such potatoes are sold at the price of UAH 42. kg. - 189.8%. The highest cost is the variety Solokha, but it does not give high yields and is quite time consuming and demanding in cultivation.
