Their morphological, cultural, physiological and biochemical properties were determined. The resistance of Antarctic microorganisms to the influence of heavy metals (Cd(II), Fe(II), Cu(II), Cr(VI), Mn(II), Co(II)) was determined. The amplitude of metabolic activity of these microorganisms, in particular, lipase and amylase, under the influence of chromium, copper, ferrum, cadmium compounds was determined. The ability of Antarctic microorganisms to synthesize biologically active substances, in particular, enzymes and exopolysaccharides, and the ability to exoelectrogenesis were determined. Using molecular genetic methods, isolated cultures of microorganisms were identified as representatives of the genera Paenibacillus, Pseudomonas, Rhodococcus. Two strains of microorganisms: Paenibacillus tundrae IMV B-7915 and Pseudomonas yamanorum IMV B-7916, were deposited at the Depository of microorganisms of the D. K.
