The purpose of the work is to determine promising of chemical composition and modes of deformation-heat treatment of hot-rolled wire rod of high strength class, the quality indicators of which must meet the requirements of modern European standards. Given a theoretical generalization and a new solution to an important scientific and practical problem, which consists in the development of scientific bases for the formation of microstructure and mechanical properties in deformation and heat treatment of wire rod from pearlitic steels, which additionally contain chromium and / or vanadium, according to experimental studies of decay kinetics austenite for the creation and industrial implementation of a set of technological measures aimed at the manufacture of cold-formed high-strength metal products while reducing material costs. On the basis of theoretical and experimental researches the new technology of high-temperature deformation-thermal processing of wire rod from the investigated steels is developed. During the industrial testing of the developed technology of deformation-heat treatment of wire rod in the flow of a standard continuous rolling mill, the maximum possible quality indicators were obtained, which were previously considered unattainable. The results of the work form a scientific basis for the introduction at the metallurgical works of Ukraine of the technology of production of high-strength wire rod from pearlitic steels, which additionally contain chromium and / or vanadium.
