The modern composition of rare phytocenodiversity of Ukraine has been established, which has 983 associations of 104 formations and their phytocoenotic and sociological characteristics are feasible. Threats to biodiversity (traditional and new) have been identified, which are grouped into three groups - physical destruction, environmental change and pollution. According to the degree of changes in the natural state of groups of rare vegetation due to their anthropogenic transformations, five groups have been identified. The modern system of modes of preservation of rare phytocenodiversity is analyzed and the system of biotechnical measures on realization of preservation of rare groups is developed. A new version of the Regulations on the Green Book of Ukraine in the context of its second edition has been prepared, the scheme of description of the rare phytocenosis of the Green Book of Ukraine has been improved. A database of ruderal vegetation of Ukraine has been created, which has 8381 descriptions. A classification scheme has been developed and a prodromus of syntaxons of ruderal vegetation of Ukraine has been compiled, which includes 8 classes, 16 orders, 36 unions and 205 associations. The place of the studied types of vegetation organization in a similar European system is determined, the analysis of coenotic wealth, level of price diversity (in comparison with European ones), coenotaxonomic specificity, features of coenoxon syntaxon structure of ruderal vegetation of Ukraine is carried out. The degree of adventitization of ruderal vegetation groups at the class level is established and the participation of highly invasive species is revealed.
