Purpose: to enhance treatment outcomes of late radiation injuries via customizing diagnostic and therapeutic technologies with prognosis factors and pathogenesis taken into account. Methods and equipment: clinical, laboratory, instrumental (biochemical analyzer “Express plus”, automatic blood analyzer SF-3000 “Sysmex”, analyzer-photometer coagulometric automatic ACL-7000, electrocardiograph FX-326U, hardware and software package «Медіана», ultrasonography apparatus “Toshiba Xario”, statistical. Theoretical and practical outcomes: the study has specified the absence of standard tests for individual prediсtion of RT (radiation therapy) complications. Patients with breast cancer have positive correlation between late radiation complications and the number of body systems affected by comorbidities (r=0.67). The changes of different character were diagnosed in patients: inflammatory in 78% of patients, fibrotic in 48%, hematological in 13%, degenerative in 4%. Hematological and biochemical values were assessed and thus they significantly distinguished patients with late radiation complications from patients without late radiation complications. In the experiment with rodents, photometabolic therapy by platelet-rich plasma injections showed a range of advantages for treating radiation ulcers in comparison with PDT (photodynamic therapy).Novelty: a method of treatment of local radiation ulcers has been developed by means of which a combination of photodynamic therapy and autologous platelet-rich plasma enhances healing of radiation ulcers of the skin. The scientific data on the course of pathological changes in late radiation complications have been completed. Application field: medical radiology, oncology.  Product Description popup.authors Vinnikov Volodymyr A. Verbytskyi Maksym V. Hladkykh Fedir V. Horiacha Veronika O Dryhval Anton A. Kulinich Halyna V.
