The effectiveness of plant growth stimulants implementation is determined at growing sugar sorghum as a raw material for biofuel production in conditions of southwestern Forest steppe of Ukraine. It is established, that plants of the hybrid Zubr during vegetation were higher and had more leaf surface area, and аs a result, have formed more yield than that of the hybrid Mammoth on similar variants. For the reporting period, the highest yield in the trial – 75,6 t/hа of green mass, or 19,7 t/hа of absolutely dry matter has been obtained on trial sites with the hybrid Zubr at introducing Stimulate 0,75L/hа in phase 3-5 leaves; Bioforge 0,6 L/hа + X-Cyte 0,6 L/hа at the end of tillering phase. When using raw material for bioethanol production from the best variant, its output will make 5443 L/hа with energy output 136,075 GJ/hа. In condition of green mass usage for biogas, 10276 m3/hа will be obtained, with energy output 224,016 GJ/hа. It is established, that plant growth stimulants introduction facilitates more bioethanol- and biogas output, by increasing plants yield capacity. It is also established, that if biogas output depends mostly on sugar sorghum plants green mass yield capacity, then bioethanol output significantly depends on total sugars content in plants cell sap.
