Research methods. The main methods of selection are different types of simple and complex intraspecific and interspecific crosses with subsequent individual selection and selection of highly productive simple forms. The main research methods: measuring and weighing; analytical; settlement and comparative; statistical, variance, and regression. Research results. The new source material has been created for further development of selection work. The analysis of spring and winter rapeseed lines by economically valuable features at the final stages of the selection process in order to create new varieties adapted to adverse biotic and abiotic factors of growing conditions in Polissya and Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, with winter rapeseed productivity over 4.0 t / ha and spring more than 2.0 t / ha and with indicators of 00-zero quality. Hybridization of winter and spring rape was carried out in order to obtain hybrids for further research. In 2020, the Trisid winter rape variety was submitted for state scientific and technical examination (Application at the Institute of Plant Variety Examination of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy № 20040063 dated 29.09.2020). The technique of selection of components for the creation of 00-zero grades-synthetics of rape is developed. On winter and spring rape at the initial stages of selection (collection, hybrids, breeding nursery, preliminary, competitive) selected and created a valuable new source material and analyzed it for morphological and adaptive traits, high oil content in seeds. High-yielding varieties with a high degree of resistance and plasticity to abiotic environmental factors in economically important parameters were selected in all categories of nurseries.
