The methodology includes methods for calculating the strength of multilayer translucent elements of aircraft when struck by a bird and a solid body and exposure to an air blast wave, as well as a method for calculating the stress state of multilayer bullet-resistant translucent elements of aircraft and military equipment. Structural solutions have been developed and new compositions of lightweight translucent elements of aircraft have been proposed, which are improved in terms of bullet and bird resistance, and are capable of ensuring the strength of the glazing under shock and impulse impacts and impact by a bird in extreme operating conditions.
