 The object of research is the paradigm and basic concepts of economics in the XXI century. Subject of research: general patterns of conditions, factors and trends in the formation and use of a new paradigm and basic concepts of economic theory of the XXI century. The purpose of research: the development of paradigms, methodologies and concepts of research of socio-economic systems in the XXI century; definition and formation of universal principles of postmodernization models of social and economic development of society in the new system of values and institutions, ensuring the development of man as a person. Research methods: the use of foresight tools, cognitive mapping, brainstorming, including in the context of the Delphi method, etc., while until now expert methods. The process of establishing the relationship between new conceptual approaches in economic theory, fundamental changes in research methodology, qualitative transformations of research tools of modern economic systems is systematically systematized and structured. The main types of potentially possible paradigms of economic theory of the XXI century are singled out and substantiated. The essence and forms of manifestation of economic ontology in the XXI century are revealed, the dynamics and structures of changes in the ontology of socio-economic development are characterized. Based on a systematic analysis of transformation processes, the prospects for the development of future economic forms are determined. It is proved that the process of economic development acquires an increasingly holistic nature, reproducing in new forms and acquiring new meaning.
