This has significantly increased the time to find optimal (or close to optimal) solutions and their accuracy, compared with the use of the classical greedy algorithm. A number of structural and information models have been built and appropriate software tools have been created on their basis to solve the problem of optimal design of the atmospheric air monitoring network, which includes: a number of optimization problems for the construction of such modern networks; their input data and methods of solution; means of visualization, analysis and interpretation of the obtained results.
