An effective assessment of different sets of pollinators and selected samples with high combination capacity (1960 - sugar sorghum; 6692, B4048 and 2565 - broom sorghum; 5050 and 4704 - Sudanese sorghum) on the green mass yield Low-growing, succulent-stemmed forms of broom sorghum with a thick stem and high bushiness have been created, which will provide high heterosis in the green mass yield due to the thick stem and increased bushiness. On the basis of the defined parameters methods of selection of highly heterosis hybrids of a bioenergetic direction of use of production are improved. To continue the selection work in various nurseries, donors of high productivity, high content of soluble carbohydrates, drought resistance, heat resistance and other important features have been identified. 2 hybrids of sugar sorghum Sokhaty (2018), Sorpal (2020) and 1 parent component – sterile line Gaolyan 4088A (2020) were passed to state variety testing.
