The purpose of the work is to develop modern tillage systems for forest-steppe crop rotations and a methodology for forecasting the development of technological systems in agriculture, to improve the methodology of field research on tillage. Modern tillage systems in forest-steppe crop rotations have been developed on the basis of clear differentiation of cultivation method and depth in accordance with biological requirements of each crop, which will increase yields of winter and spring ears, sunflower, soybean, corn for grain, rape by 0.2–0.5 t / ha, and additionally receive 2.5-3.5 thousand UAH / ha of crop rotation area, as well as reducing the consumption of fuels and lubricants by 15-20%. A methodology for forecasting the development of technological systems in modern agriculture has been developed. Scientific and practical recommendations for the use of modern tillage systems in forest-steppe crop rotations. The method of field research on tillage has been improved.
