Purpose: theoretical substantiation and development of an adaptive cloud-oriented system of education and professional development of secondary school teachers. Research methods: theoretical analysis of psychological and pedagogical scientific literature, generalization of pedagogical experience, system analysis, expert evaluation, questionnaire. The main results obtained during the research are as follows: 1. The conceptual apparatus is defined, the evolution of means and technologies of adaptive cloud-oriented systems in education is investigated. 2. The principles, methods and approaches to the formation of adaptive cloud-oriented systems in educational institutions are substantiated. 3. The analysis and assessment of the state of use of adaptive cloud-oriented systems in the domestic educational space is carried out. 4. The principles, methods and approaches to the formation of adaptive cloud-oriented systems are substantiated. 5. The model of adaptive cloud-oriented system of education and professional development of secondary school teachers is substantiated. 6. The means and services of formation of adaptive cloud-oriented systems in a pedagogical educational institution are investigated. 7. Methods are substantiated and methodical recommendations on use of services of adaptive cloud-oriented system of training and professional development of teachers of comprehensive school are developed.
