It is determined that this type of detector allows simultaneous registration of alpha and beta particles with spectral separation with alpha-beta ratio more than 0,85. Technological processes of the manufacturing of counting alpha detectors have been developed using a thin scintillator layer based on fine crystalline ZnSe(Al) applied on an optically transparent plate of polymethyl methacrylate, and counting alpha-beta detectors based on a thin layer of fine crystalline ZnSe(Al) applied on a transparent plate of plastic scintillator based on polystyrene type UPS-923A. It is shown that the use of scintillation coating based on fine crystalline ZnSe(Al) provides satisfactory sensitivity to alpha radiation without loss of sensitivity to beta radiation. A method of manufacturing plastic scintillator plates based on polystyrene type UPS-923A of a given thickness and area by hot pressing has been developed. It is shown that, due to absence of mechanical processing of the plates, an increase their optical transparency is achieved, which provides satisfactory sensitivity of the detector to beta radiation. Technological documentation has been developed: laboratory regulations “Manufacture of alpha-beta radiation detectors in the spectrometric registration mode” and laboratory regulations “Manufacture of alpha and alpha-beta radiation detectors in the counting registration mode”.
