Purpose - Development of new methods of diagnosis, improvement of surgical tactics and complex therapy in patients with acute diseases and injuries of the abdominal cavity.
Research methods: clinical, biochemical, histochemical, minimally invasive methods of treatment, surgical interventions, statistical analysis.
Materials and methods are presented in each section separately. The studies were performed on patients with acute diseases and injuries of the abdominal cavity treated in the surgical departments of the University Clinics and the Central Military Clinical Hospital (which is the base of the Department of General and Military Surgery of ONMedU). The number of patients is indicated in each section.
Expected results: Improved treatment outcomes (reduction of mortality, postoperative complications and reduction of bed-day) in patients with acute diseases and injuries of the abdominal cavity. Which in the future will allow to develop clear algorithms of actions of the doctor, and to improve tactics of treatment of patients, and to develop methods of prevention or recurrence of diseases.
