The aim of the project is to develop guidelines for the assessment and regulation of food price chains (production of raw materials, processing of products, wholesale and retail trade). The research uses: dialectical method of cognition of market processes and a systematic approach to the study of problems; methods of analytical generalizations, statistical comparison, design and calculation, graphics. The main results were obtained in the course of research. Thus, the peculiarities of the formation of price chains from producers to consumers of final products in space and time for food wheat, high-grade flour and bread from high-grade flour, sunflower seeds and sunflower oil, poultry eggs, raw milk and pasteurized milk, some dairy products raw beef and pork, poultry. The interspecific price ratios for certain types of agricultural products and products of its processing are determined, taking into account the grain equivalent in space and time. Monitoring was carried out and the peculiarities of the formation of price chains from producers to consumers of final products of certain types of agricultural products and products of its processing were revealed. The tendencies and regularities of dynamics of prices for agricultural raw materials, products of processing in wholesale and retail trade are estimated. The study will assist in making timely and optimal management decisions by agricultural producers, retailers and processing companies to form their own marketing policy.
