The purpose of the work is to develop the scientific bases of energy conversion under HVEE in the conditions of controlled introduction of electric energy into the HVEE zone, to develop an algorithm for calculating the parameters of the corresponding combined energy sources depending on the needs of specific discharge pulse technologies. Research methods are numerical and physical experiments. It was experimentally confirmed for the first time that the main physical factor that determines the efficiency of exothermic reactions in the HVEE channel with controlled input of electric energy is the duration of pressure in the channel, the amplitude of which exceeds the critical level for mixtures equal to 22.5 MPa. Purposeful experimental researches of efficiency of exothermic reactions which take place in the discharge channel of HVEE undere controlled introduction of electric energy in it are executed. It is established that the specific energy efficiency depends not only on two electrophysical factors, but also on the total energy of double-loop GPC and the mass of the EM. The initial technological factors that increase the specific energy efficiency of HVEE by almost 2.5 times compared to the traditional version of HVEE implementation are identified. This will reduce the energy consumption and mass-dimensions of GPC, reduce the cost of electricity to ensure the required energy characteristics of HVEE, which are set by a specific pulse-discharge technology of materials processing. Based on the generalization of the results of experimental and theoretical studies, an algorithm for solving the inverse problem of determining the necessary parameters of combined energy sources based on HVEE with controlled input of electrical energy into its channel is proposed.
