ANTIBIOTIC RESISTANCE, MUSEUM STRAINS, ESCHERICHIA COLI, STAPHYLOCOCCIA, CRYOPRESERVATION, BIOINFORMATICS ANALYSIS, blaTEM, blaSHV GENES. 195 strains of microorganisms were the subjects of the study: 104 E. Coli strains (55 clinical strains isolated from patients with purulent-inflammatory infections, and 49 museum strains); 91 strains of the genus Staphylococcus (68 clinical strains isolated from patients with purulent-inflammatory infections, and 23 museum strains). Research purpose: to study the fundamental aspects of the antibiotic resistance evolution of the most common pathogens of purulent-inflammatory infections. Research methods: microbiological, physical, bioinformatics, molecular genetic, mathematical and statistical. The viability and taxonomic correspondence of lyophilized museum strains of E. coli and S. aureus were studied. The efficiency of lyophilization and cryopreservation as a method of preserving microorganism collection strains of the genus Staphylococcus and Escherichia was confirmed. A comparative analysis of antibiotic susceptibility profiles of the strains isolated in preantibiotic, metaantibiotic and modern periods was performed. An increase in the level and spectrum of antibiotic resistance was determined for the modern clinical strains of E. coli and S. aureus. According to the results of the bioinformatics analysis, it was found that among the genes encoding the production of beta-lactamases in E. coli, the largest number of evolutionary divergences of nucleotide sequences was discovered in the blaTEM gene, in contrast to the mecA S. Aureus gene, which was characterized by high evolutionary conservatism. Molecular genetic studies revealed blaTEM and blaSHV genes in 28,7% of penicillin- and early cephalosporin-resistant museum strains of E. coli.
