In order to implement the calendar plan for 2020, criteria for the selection of model reservoirs were developed and selected. A total of 12 large wetlands were selected along the entire Azov-Black Sea coast of Ukraine, which meet certain characteristics: are part of the NPF, suffer from significant anthropogenic and climatic impacts; well studied in terms of species composition and distribution of birds. Available ornithological data were collected from these model reservoirs and 14 species of rare and economically important bird species were selected on the basis of the analysis, for which there are sufficient data, which will be emphasized in the project. A register of resources (GIS data, space images, climate data, etc.) was also created, which contains information relevant to the project objectives. Existing shape files from the boundaries of the Azov-Black Sea region's nature reserve facilities were collected, and some materials were additionally digitized by hand. KEY WORDS: wetland birds, wetlands, Azov-Black Sea coast, anthropogenic and climatic impact. Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2021-01-29 Close
