Purpose: to develop methodological and methodological principles of formation of organizational and economic mechanism of use of production resources in different types of technologies for growing crops under intensive farming systems. Research methods: systematic research of literature and information sources, statistical data on the basis of which methodological bases of estimation of efficiency of technologies of cultivation of agricultural crops have been developed. The study determined the economic efficiency of various methods and standards of production resources in field experiments of NSC "Institute of Agriculture NAAS" and other scientific institutions in order to select the most profitable for inclusion in basic technologies. The following methods of economic research were used in the work: system, statistical, calculation-constructive, balance, abstract-logical, analysis and synthesis, economic-mathematical modeling. The paper analyzes and calculates the resource intensity and economic efficiency of production in different types of grain growing technologies. The introduction of intensive technologies requires the large-scale use of various resources - material, labor, technical, etc., the size of which must be in a certain ratio.
