The purpose of the work is to increase the fertility of the soil environment due to rational methods of soil cultivation and the use of crop by-products as fertilizers. Research methods - analytical, experimental. Developed: rational methods of soil mulching; structural and functional schemes of the crop residue shredder and the combined machine for tillage with the use of destructors; parameters of the shredder of crop residues with a horizontal axis of rotation and hammer working bodies and the combined machine for tillage with the use of destructors; technical tasks for the design of design documentation for the shredder of crop residues and a combined machine for tillage with the use of destructors; developed a CD for the shredder of plant residues and a combined machine for tillage with the use of a destructor and the act was transferred to LLC "Krasilivagromash". The novelty of the work is protected by a utility model patent (№ UA 110059 C2) and 4 applications for inventions have been filed. Economic efficiency, compared with foreign technology, in reducing total costs by 2.29 times, including a reduction in the cost of equipment by 5.59 times, increasing the fertility of the soil environment, reducing the cost of equipment by 5.47 times and import substitution. Proposals - to make a shredder of plant residues and a combination machine and conduct experimental research in 2021. Field of application - agricultural engineering and agricultural production.
