The qualimetric approach to assessing the quality of feed for farm animals and poultry has been developed. It is shown that a sufficiently objective indicator of feed quality can be obtained as the average harmonic value of objective indicators by refusing to determine the weighting factor of the indicator. The structural parameters of feces (average particle size) were found to be related to productivity and digestive disorders in dairy cows. In healthy animals, it was found that with increasing dry matter content in feces, the average particle size decreases by 0.07 mm per percent. In animals with digestive disorders, the average particle size of feces probably increases and the dry matter content decreases (P> 0.95). A method for assessing the general physiological condition using a qualimetric approach has been developed. The system of assessment for the quality management and safety of products on the basis of adequate competence of measurements of indicators of quality of forages, health of animals and products of cattle-breeding is received.
