VITRINITE, VOLYN-PODILYA, GAS, DEVONIAN, EXINЕ, INERTINITE, CARBONIFEROUS, KEROGEN, OIL, OIL–AND–GAS–BEARING CAPACITY, PALYNOGEOCHEMISTRY, PALYNOLOGY, SPORES, POLLEN. The object of research: changes in the composition of insoluble dispersed organics depending on facies; exinе colour of spores as a criterion of thermal maturity of sedimentary strata; areas of oil and gas potential, determined by the composition and degree of conversion of dispersed organic matter. The aim of the work is a comprehensive analysis of insoluble dispersed organic matter by palynological method to determine the oil and gas generation potential of the Devonian- Carboniferous complex of rocks. Research methods: palynological, biostratigraphic, lithological-facial analysis, method of palynofacies, method of palynoorictocenoses. The results. For the first time for Devonian and Carboniferous SEP EPS according to numerous palyno-geochemical data the composition, genetic type, nature of change and degree of transformation of insoluble dispersed organics of specific sections were determined. Regional generalization of research results was made and according to the degree of geochemical maturity and oil and gas generation potential three zones can be singled out: the Western with exhausted potential, the Central, promising for gas, and the Eastern the zone optimal for the search for hydrocarbons.
