Objectives: experimental study of the thermodynamic properties of the Fe–Ni–Zr, Fe–Ni–Hf and Fe–Ti–Zr melts; modeling the thermodynamic properties and the short range order in the Fe–Ni–(Ti, Zr, Hf), Fe–Ti–Zr melts; database for the modeling of thermodynamic properties of quaternary and quinary Fe–Cu−Ni−Ti−Zr and Fe–Cu−Ni−Ti−Hf melts within the framework of associated solution model; modeling of phase equilibria and thermodynamic properties of phases of the Fe–Ni–Ti system using the CALPHAD method. Research methods: high-temperature isoperibolic calorimetry, mathematical and phenomenological models of thermodynamic properties of melts; CALPHAD-method for calculations of phase transformations of systems. Results: the partial and integral enthalpy of mixing of the Fe–Ni–Zr, Fe–Ni–Hf and Fe–Ti–Zr melts; the parameters of the associate solution models for the Fe–Ni–(Ti, Zr, Hf), Fe–Ti–Zr liquid alloys; the database for modeling of the thermodynamic properties of melts of four- and five-component Fe–Cu–Ni–Ti–Zr and Fe–Cu–Ni–Ti–Hf systems; the calculated composition of the associated solution and the estimated concentration regions for the production of rapidly quenched amorphous alloys of the Fe–Ni–(Ti, Zr, Hf), Fe–Ti–Zr, quaternary and quinary Fe–Cu−Ni−Ti−Zr and Fe–Cu−Ni−Ti−Hf systems; the thermodynamic assessment of the Fe–Ni–Ti system, and calculated isothermal and polythermal sections, projections of liquidus and solidus surfaces of the phase diagram of the system, coordinates of nonvariant transformations, reaction scheme. Range of application: fine metallurgical synthesis; development of new technologies for synthesis of amorphous and high entropy alloys; research and development in the field of materials science.
