The purpose of the pedagogical experiment is to test the effectiveness of the model of professional and personal development of teachers in the context of the New Ukrainian School. According to the purpose the task of pedagogical experiment was defined. Studies of the value orientations of pedagogical staff, their motivation and level of sociability made it possible to determine the level of personal development of respondents in the control and experimental groups. Studies of the level of theoretical knowledge and pedagogical skills made it possible to quantify the level of professional development of respondents in the control and experimental groups at the ascertaining stage of the experiment. The analysis of the results allowed to determine the priority areas of professional and personal development of the teacher, including: the formation of instrumental values; development of pedagogical skills; motivation for professional activity; development of communication skills. Professional and personal development of the teacher was carried out in two stages.
