It has been established that the most dangerous among the harmful substances formed during the combustion of fossil fuels are nitrogen oxides. An effective way to combat pollution with nitrogen oxides is to reduce harmful substances at the source of their formation. Methods for reducing emissions of nitrogen oxides during the combustion of solid organic fuels are analyzed. The research of ecological efficiency of combustion of solid organic fuel is given, on the example of boiler TP-100 and the decrease of flue gas consumption and reduction of nitrogen volume in combustion products is established.
