Probably a higher value of the average live weight of piglets at weaning by 0.19-0.29 kg in spring and summer, compared with winter. Preservation of offspring of piglets, when weaned in the winter, was lower by 3.8-4.6% compared to other periods of the year. It is shown that the planning and design solution of the room is characterized by insufficient energy efficiency of enclosing structures (OK) due to the presence of cold / heat bridges and requires their thermal insulation. For this purpose, an ecologically safe method of thermal insulation OK has been developed and an algorithm for its determination has been developed. The method can be applied to OK premises with signs of obsolescence and defects of heating and ventilation systems, in order to increase the homogeneity of thermal insulation OK. It was determined that the thermal insulation of the walls with 20 mm thick polyurethane foam and 2 mm layer of ceramic insulation provide the required value of thermal insulation resistance with a relatively low additional load on the load-bearing structures, respectively 0.625 and 1.250 kg / m2. The total cost of thermal insulation with OK Keramoizol and Polyurethane Foam is UAH 275 / m2 and UAH 310 / m2, respectively. It is established that the thermal protection of the walls of the pigsty will help not only to improve the welfare of animals, but also has an economic effect. The estimated payback period of the wall insulation measure with Keramoizol is 35.3 months, and with Polyurethane Foam - 39.8 months.
