The theoretical substantiation of the operation of this class of welding equipment based on converters implementing the charge transfer method is given. Developed and experimentally investigated laboratory models of modules with an adjustable conversion frequency in the range of 1-1000 Hz for currents up to 160 A. It is shown that the use is promising is not in conjunction with converters based on an artificial long line. This approach makes it possible to realize the mode of dynamic combustion of the welding arc and ensures high quality of welded joints. The use is especially promising not for creating multi-station welding systems that provide both high energy efficiency and improved parameters of electromagnetic compatibility. On the basis of is not proposed a new method of arc cutting, uses an adjustable capacitor discharge. This approach eliminates the need for an air compressor. Particular attention is paid to the use of supercapacitors for tandem MMA welding. Models for tandem surfacing have been developed and investigated. For the developed technical solutions within the framework of this topic, received six patents of Ukraine.
