As a result of complex scientific research in 2016–2020, the facts of deterioration of natural reproduction of aquatic bioresources and functioning of biota in natural and artificial reservoirs of the Dnieper, degradation of many natural spawning grounds of aboriginal fish, strong anthropic pressure on populations of valuable fish species has been established. A set of reproductive and biomeliorative measures to improve the conditions of natural reproduction increase the productivity of aquatic bioresources, the general ecological condition and water quality of the Dnieper reservoirs has been developed. The economic effects of the implementation of environmental measures are calculated. Directions and approaches to effective fishery use of Dnieper reservoirs are determined.
