The purpose of the work is to develop processes of electrochemical production of functional materials with given properties by methods of cathodic deposition or anodic oxidation. The processes of electrochemical oxidation of tantalum in fluoride-containing electrolytes have been studied. It is shown that the change of ionic composition and electrical modes of electrolysis is a tool that makes it possible to form films of a given structure. The processes of galvanochemical deposition of coatings with zinc-tin and zinc-nickel alloys from polyligand systems such as "pyrophosphate-citrate" and "ammonium-glycine" have been studied and new progressive electrolytes have been proposed for obtaining functional coatings. The corrosion resistance of steel welds in tungstate solutions was studied and it was found that the maximum corrosion rate is observed for carbon steel, and the increase in mortar temperature causes an intensive increase in the corrosion rate of steel (1.5? 10-3 mm? Year-1 at 95 oC, 13? 10-3 mm? Year-1 for 145 oC). Chromium steels and alloy steel 08Х22Н6Т have corrosion rates of the same order both at a temperature of 95 оС and at 145 оС.
