The result of fundamental research was new knowledge about the dynamics of water consumption components, the dynamics of total water consumption during the day and the establishment of the share of evaporation (%) in the structure of total water consumption at different levels of soil moisture at different fertilizer systems. The equivalence of the effect of moisture supply (factor A) - 38% and fertilizer (factor B) on the bioproducts of grain mass and the predominance of fertilizer (54%) on the bioproducts of vegetative mass and reducing the share of moisture supply (25%). Regularities of influence of fertilizer systems (FS) on components of water consumption and bioproductivity of cultures are established. Mineral FS was the most sensitive to soil moisture supply, and organic FS was the most stable. According to the results of research in 2016-2020 were prepared a project "Methods of vegetation experiments with regulated soil water regime" and "Guidelines for improving agricultural technologies and economical use of water resources in the cultivation of crops of continuous sowing on reclaimed land", which contain the methodology of optimization of crop cultivation by scenario modeling on the basis of the received laws and mathematical models of water exchange and bioproductivity of cultures on criterion of integral parameters of efficiency of use of moisture in production process (transpiration coefficients and water consumption coefficients).
