ELECTRICAL NETWORK, SHIFTING LOAD, STATIC THYRISTOR COMPENSATOR, REACTIVE POWER COMPENSATION, DISPERSED ENERGY SOURCES The object of the study is the process of compensation of reactive loads in the electrical network with a variable load. Purpose: to improve methods and means of optimizing the impact of compensating installations on the parameters of the electrical network, taking into account the mutual influence of electrical networks with variable loads. Research methods: the method of nodal stresses, graph theory, the method of loss distribution coefficients, the theory of fuzzy sets, the method of center of gravity, the method of indefinite Lagrange factors, the integrated method of determining the indicators of the energy process. In the process of research, 90 scientific papers were published in domestic scientific journals, including: 1 monograph, 17 articles in professional journals of Ukraine, 1 article in a journal indexed in Scopus, 9 articles in other scientific journals and 62 publications on conference proceedings. . Performers took part in 4 domestic scientific conferences and 7 scientific seminars. 18 educational and methodical editions were developed and published, including 1 textbook, 2 electronic textbooks. The results of scientific developments are introduced into the educational process of the Department of Electrical Engineering for the preparation of bachelors and masters of electrical engineering, electrical engineering and electromechanics. 13 qualifying master's theses were also defended. The paper proposes a set of advanced methods and tools that allow optimizing power flows taking into account the mutual influence of electrical networks, provide effective compensation of reactive power implemented on the principles of Smart Grid, minimize the impact of variable load on electricity quality parameters, implement energy-saving power modes.
