The purpose of the work is to reduce energy consumption, increase productivity and quality of the technological operation of digging seedlings in the nursery grown on vegetative rootstocks by improving and introducing into production a prototype of the developed machine. Research methods - modeling, experiment, analysis, synthesis. As a result of the conducted researches the works connected with research of work in field conditions of a prototype of the digging machine, revealing of lacks and their elimination were carried out. The machine is made in a hinged version. Its main structural elements are: the frame, the working body, the support wheels and the mechanism of oscillating of the shaker. The weight of the machine is about 0.30 tons. The introduction of the developed machine will increase the productivity and efficiency of the technological operation, which will reduce the cost of production.
