TO DEVELOP LANDSCAPE-ADAPTIVE FUNDAMENTALS OF MODERN SYSTEMS OF AGRICULTURE OF THE LEFT-BANK FOREST STEPPE AND THE NORTHERN STEPPE Object of research creation of methods of adaptation of components of system of agriculture taking into account landscape features and climatic changes. The purpose of the work is to establish the efficiency of the individual components of the agricultural system adapted to the conditions of the Left-Bank Forest-Steppe and the Northern Steppe and to provide recommendations for their introduction into production. Research method - field stationary and production experiment; calculated; analytical; statistical and mathematical methods. The results of research indicate the problem of choosing winter wheat predecessors for sunflower and corn, after the cultivation of which a number of agrophysical and agrochemical indicators of soil fertility deteriorate. The expediency of introduction of the differentiated system of tillage with use of chiseling at cultivation of row crops and disk under winter cultures is confirmed. The technology of strip-till for row crops in the Steppe of Ukraine is promising, provided that they alternate with stubble predecessors, as well as local chiseling in fallow. Some elements of the technology of growing grain sorghum, safflower, winter rye and sunflower have been studied and improved. Attention is paid to controlling weediness of crops and improving nutritional conditions through foliar application of macro- and microfertilizers. In conditions of unstable and insufficient moisture, it is recommended to introduce 4-7-field grain-steam crop rotation with saturation of the structure of sown areas with legumes not less than 10%, as well as the use of fallow within 5% of the crop rotation area. Plowing technologies should be applied periodically for the most demanding crop rotation crops with a volume of 20–25% during the crop rotation period.
